A customer version of the Ferrari 499P that won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2023 has been announced. Ferrari's Sport Prototipi Clienti program will sell the 499P Modificata, a variant of the 499P Le Mans Hypercar, to customers for a price that has not yet been announced but will surely be impressive. The Ferrari 499P's win at the 2023 24 Hours of Le Mans was the marque's first Le Mans win since 1965.
The 499P Modificata will be sold directly to customers seeking the ultimate track-day Ferrari.
The 499P Modificata makes 697 horsepower with a hybrid powertrain and four-wheel drive.
A 'Push to Pass' function offers up an extra 161 horsepower on demand for peak output of 858 horsepower.
Ferrari's Sport Prototipi Clienti program will provide support and maintenance to owners of the complex track car.
Specially developed Pirelli tires are part of the package.
The single-seater cockpit is the same as in the Le Mans 499P and aimed at giving owners the same driving experience.
The car made its debut at the Ferrari World Finals at the Mugello circuit near Florence, Italy, on October 28, 2023.
Ferrari calls the 499P Modificata "a strictly limited-series track car, reserved for non-competitive use" and "aimed at gentleman drivers."
The 499P Modificata will be able to participate in a new Sport Prototipi Clienti program at international tracks, starting in 2024.
