The 2024 Alfa Romeo Stelvio Competizione slots between the Veloce and the more expensive Quadrifoglio. It adds an active suspension, more luxe, and an exclusive paint color, in addition to the niceties that come standard with the Veloce trim.
The 2024 Stelvio Competizione bridges the gap between the lower-rung versions of the SUV and the 505-hp Quadrifoglio model.
The Competizione adds some visual flair on top of the standard features included with the Veloce trim it is based upon.
The double-humped upper dash is finished in leather, ditching the coarse-grain finish found on lesser trims.
The Competizione's leather seats have red stitching, as well as special "Competizione" logos printed on the sides and headrests.
Unfortunately, some of the Stelvio's interior feels like it's been yanked straight from the Stellantis parts bin and features more plastic than we'd hoped for.
Thankfully, the base 2.0-liter produces a solid 280 horsepower and 306 pound-feet of torque.
The Stelvio Competizione starts at $58,520.
All-wheel drive is standard.
The Stelvio is impressively engaging to drive, and its steering is direct, though it could offer more feel through the wheel.
The Stelvio Competizione is a purebred Alfa, for sure, though the high price tag leaves us wanting more.
