With the standard 64.0-kWh battery, the FWD EV5 will have an estimated 329 miles of range, per China's very optimistic CLTC standard. An available 88.0-kWh battery is said to provide 447 miles.

The AWD EV5 is only offered with the larger battery, which comes with a CLTC-estimated range of 404 miles. Of course, Kia says the Korean versions will have slightly smaller batteries and slightly less power.

Despite sharing details about the EV5's powertrains and range estimates, Kia hasn't said anything about its dimensions, but the SUV is undoubtedly shorter than the 197.4-inch-long EV9.
