The Polaris Slingshot is some of the most fun a person can have on three wheels. It's got a manual, a low curb weight, a decent amount of horsepower, and more attitude than one of those '90s T-shirts with Taz on it.
The Slingshot SLR we tested utilizes a 2.0-liter inline-four making 203 horsepower.
The base Slingshot S only makes 178 hp, and those extra ponies are definitely noticeable.
While it may have less horsepower than many popular modern cars, the Slingshot's 8500-rpm redline brings us back to the days of old screaming Honda fours.
An automated manual transmission is available, but considering a five-speed manual is also on offer, we know which of the two we'd pick.
