The new GLC's AMG 43 performance version features a turbocharged four-cylinder engine instead of the old twin-turbo V-6.
As before, Mercedes will offer several different AMG versions of the GLC SUV. The less powerful of the two is this AMG GLC43, which has a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four producing 416 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque.
The GLC43's front end looks quite different than the base GLC300's thanks to its AMG-specific grille.
There are also larger air intakes and a body kit to set it apart.
Under the hood is a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four with 416 horsepower.
The interior features a different steering wheel and AMG-specific display screens.
Performance seats are optional, but we don't yet know how much extra they will cost.
You know the GLC43 is sporty because it has red seatbelts.
This is the squareback GLC SUV, which has more space than the swoopier coupe version of the GLC that will surely gain a GLC43 variant too.
20-inch wheels are standard, and the GLC43 has a staggered-width tire setup.
The GLC43's powertrain has an electrically assisted turbocharger and a 48-volt hybrid setup.
