For 2024, the Benz-branded GLS450 and GLS580 both have more power than before. The former model's horsepower rises from 362 to 375, whereas the latter's peak figure rises from 483 to 510 ponies.

Every AMG GLS63 is loaded with more standard features than the previous model year. The list includes automatic high-beams, heated and ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, and a performance exhaust.

While all GLS models get a new steering wheel with touch controls, the AMG version has its own unique tiller. Likewise, they all add the latest version of the MBUX infotainment system, but the GLS63 has AMG-specific display menus.

Mercedes now gives customers more choices when it comes to interior upholstery. The new Bahia Brown/Black leather combination seen here is also joined by Catalana Beige, Crystal White and Silver Gray Pearl, and Mahogany Brown and Macchiato Beige.

For those who like to hit the trails, the GLS580 adds a new Off-Road Engineering package, which includes underbody protection and a revised air suspension. The latter can raise the ride an additional 1.2 inches for better ground clearance.

The Maybach version of the Mercedes GLS qualifies as ultra luxurious. The grandest model also can be fitted with a new set of forged 23-inch wheels to really draw attention to it.

Customers who can't quite afford the Maybach model can still experience some of its fanciness with the newly available interior trim called MANUFAKTUR Piano Lacquer Flowing Lines. Previously, it was reserved for the GLS600.

Sometime later this year, the 2024 Mercedes GLS family will go on sale in the U.S. We don't currently have pricing details, but we expect the entry-level GLS450 to start around $85,000 and the AMG GLS63 and Maybach GLS600 to start around $150K and $175K, respectively.
