Lamborghini has revealed the 2024 Revuelto, which will serve as the replacement for the Aventador. It has a new plug-in-hybrid powertrain with a 6.5-liter V-12 engine, three electric motors, and a total of 1001 horsepower.
The Revuelto is immediately recognizable as a Lamborghini, with a wedge-like shape a low-slung nose.
The 6.5-liter V-12 engine produces 814 horsepower on its own, and combines with two electric motors up front and one at the rear.
Total system output, at least in the top Corsa driving mode, sits at 1001 horsepower.
These two huge center-exit exhaust outlets dominate the rear end.
Lamborghini's CEO insisted that the V-12 engine be visible through the rear engine cover.
The Revuelto is a plug-in hybrid, but its electric-only range will be limited.
Lamborghini claims that the interior provides more space than before for driver and passenger.
There are also additional storage spaces compared with the Aventador, plus cupholders.
The turn-signal and wiper controls have been moved to the steering wheel.
Lamborghini hasn't yet announced a price but says that the initial run of Revuelto models is already sold out.
