See interior and exterior images of the 1989 Yugo. Time to 100 mph? Yeah, right.

In the 1980s, the Yugo represented a certain kind of freedom: The Giugiaro-reskinned Fiat 127 clone was cheap (under $4000), light (under 2000 pounds), and a certain style of cute. The tiny car, built in Yugoslavia, was a big hit in its first three years on the U.S. market. Anyone who was around then probably still has a funny story or joke about the Yugo. Now imagine having one today and pulling up to Cars & Coffee. You'll be on Instagram faster than any of the higher-priced collectibles around you.
