Hyundai is introducing a new version of the Kona, and that includes a redesign for the Kona Electric. The EV version looks quite different than before but isn't all that new underneath, as the battery and electric motors are both improved slightly.
The Kona Electric has the same new face as the gasoline version, with a lightbar called "seamless horizon."
The Kona Electric is bigger than before, with a longer wheelbase and more space inside.
We don't have full specs yet, but we know it will have a 214-hp electric motor.
The battery pack measures 65.4-kWh and we estimate an EPA range of around 260 miles.
Charging doesn't measure up to the Ioniq 5's 800-volt architecture, but fast-charging is still possible.
