Honda Performance Development announced an 800 horsepower track focused CR-V hybrid. The car utilizes bespoke bodywork, a hyper focused interior, and aerodynamics abound to create what it describes as "a track monster with some 800 electrified horsepower."
A full roll cage can be seen from the outside of the car, adding stability and protection on the track.
A set of louvers were cut to in to the newly added carbon front fender, likely to assist with moving cold air over the front brakes.
Honda added a front splitter, wider fenders, dive planes, and reworked aero along the side of the car in an effort to bring lap times down.
Honda teased aerodynamics galore, with a massive rear wing sitting proudly atop the hybrid CR-V race car.
The entire stock interior looks to have been removed, with the HPD team adding only pieces necessary to set a fast lap time.
We don't know exactly what changes HPD and Auto Development Center made to the engine, but 800 horsepower in a dedicated track car is a surefire recipe for fun.
