For 2024, Mercedes-AMG is amping up the GLE-class SUV's style and performance. Updated exterior styling elements include a revised front bumper and grille, updated lighting elements, and new wheel designs. The entry-level GLE53 model also receives more torque thanks to a larger turbocharger mounted to its 3.0-liter inline six engine.
While the 2024 GLE53 and GLE63 S still wear a version of AMG's signature waterfall grille design, the bumper and air intakes have been reworked for a fresh look.
In addition to revised headlamps, the GLE-class's rear taillamps have also been updated.
Stylish new wheel designs round out the visual changes to the GLE's exterior.
The exterior styling enhancements aren't exclusive to the GLE coupe models, as the normal squareback SUV receives a similar treatment.
The GLE53 receives an update to its powertrain that boosts torque from 384 to 413 pound-feet.
The GLE63 S model sees no changes to its powertrain for 2024, but it comes with more standard equipment, including a head-up display and front seats with adjustable side bolsters.
Two new two-tone interior upholstery options are available for 2024: Bahia Brown and Black as well as Macchiato Beige and Black.
The MBUX infotainment system has been updated to include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
All 2024 AMG GLE models will wear this new AMG-specific badge on their hoods in place of the standard Mercedes-Benz icon.
