Infiniti redesigned its mid-size, three-row SUV, the QX60, for 2022, and while the 2023 model we tested is a notable upgrade over the previous-gen backbencher, it doesn't rise beyond midpack.
The QX60's new shape dials back the previous model's curves and is slightly trimmer in size. It rides on the same 114.2-inch wheelbase as before but is 2.4 inches shorter in length.
The contrasting black roof is exclusive to the Autograph trim level.
A 3.5-liter V-6 powers all QX60s. It makes 295 horsepower and requires premium fuel.
All versions save for the base trim ride on 20-inch wheels.
Leather upholstery is standard, while the Autograph version (pictured) gets higher-grade hides and quilted stitching.
Screen-based instrumentation is standard on all but the base model, and the new center touchscreen measures 12.3 inches.
A panoramic sunroof is standard.
The second-row seats are captain's chairs in the Autograph; all other models have a 60/40 split bench.
The third-row seat is a tight fit, but access is easy thanks to the second row's tilt-slide function.
In our testing, the QX60 accelerated to 60 mph in 6.2 seconds, an improvement over the previous model's 7.1 seconds.
Pricing for the QX60 starts at just over $50,000 and reaches the mid-$60K range for the top version.
