Volvo's smallest SUV, the XC40, is revised for 2023 with a tweaked design and new powertrains. The previous T4 and T5 engine options are replaced by B4 and B5 models, which both feature a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four with a 48-volt mild hybrid system. We tested the more powerful B5 in its top Ultimate trim level.
