The 2024 VinFast VF7 is a distinctive EV SUV that'll be available with single or dual electric motors. The former front-drive setup is said to have 201 horsepower, while the all-wheel-drive version has a claimed 349 horses. Its interior looks attractive, and it should be roomier than the smaller VF6. Both models boast a prominent center touchscreen infotainment system.
Unlike VinFast's two-row VF8 and three-row VF9, which were styled by famed design firm Pininfarina, the VF7 was penned by the lesser-known Torino Design.
The VF7 is 178.9 inches long, 74.4 inches wide, and 64.4 inches tall.
With styling that's not too overwrought, the VF7 features V-shaped accent lights on its snout and rump.
The front-drive VF7 has a claimed 201 horsepower, whereas the all-wheel-drive version has a claimed 349 horses.
The VF7 doesn't have a traditional gauge cluster, instead relying on a head-up display to convey driver information.
The VF7's infotainment system runs through a 15.6-inch touchscreen that's canted towards the driver.
The VF7's center console has a retractable cover and what appears to be a volume knob for the stereo system.
While we didn't have a chance to try them out, the VF7's front seats appear to be a comfy spot to pop a squat.
The VF7's back seat looks roomy, and the available panoramic sunroof contributes to an airy atmosphere.
