The 2023 Kia Telluride stays ahead of the curve and on top of the mid-size SUV class by bringing restyled exterior and interior details, plus better content and new trim levels, including tougher-looking X-Line and X-Pro models.
The 2023 Kia Telluride was already a looker, but its face has been restyled to look even sharper.
The 2023 Telluride is fundamentally unchanged, meaning a 291-hp 3.8-liter V-6 still powers it. It pairs with an eight-speed automatic transmission and either front- or all-wheel drive.
Along with a more pronounced grille, the Telluride's front bumper has a boxier design, and its LED headlights have dual vertical lamps.
The X-Line and X-Pro trims feature standard all-wheel drive, an extra 0.4 inch of ground clearance, and slightly improved approach and departure angles.
Most all-wheel-drive Tellurides can tow 5000 pounds, but the X-Pro can tug 5500 pounds, thanks to its more powerful cooling fan.
In our testing, the X-Line hit 60 mph in 6.8 seconds, which is slightly quicker than other all-wheel-drive Tellurides we've sampled.
While X-Line modes roll on 20-inch wheels and all-season tires, the X-Pro sports 18-inchers shod with model-exclusive all-terrain rubber.
All Tellurides gain an updated dashboard with restyled vents and trim that makes way for a new infotainment interface, which features dual 12.3-inch displays for the gauge cluster and center touchscreen on upper trim levels.
The updated infotainment system includes built-in navigation and a Wi-Fi hotspot as standard. While Apple CarPlay and Android Auto now make better use of the screen, they still require a wired connection.
With the introduction of Kia's Highway Driving Assist 2 feature, the Telluride can assist with changing lanes when prompted by the driver.
