The Porsche 911 Targa 4 GTS is a model of compromise. Its power-operated retractable roof panel effectively combines the characteristics of the 911's coupe and convertible body styles. It's heavier than the coupe, its chassis is less rigid, and its open-top driving experience cannot match the immersive nature of the convertible. Still, it offers a superior open-air experience to the hardtop and greater top-up visibility than the convertible.
