The 2023 Subaru Solterra SUV, jointly developed with Toyota, is the company's first foray into EVs.
In keeping with Subaru's outdoorsy image, the new Solterra SUV is all-wheel drive and capable of some light trail work. More important, it also tests the waters for the future electrification of the brand's products.
The Solterra comes standard with dual motors—one front, one rear—which combine for 215 horsepower and 249 pound-feet of torque.
