From the Archive: We're still not sold on the merits of "sport trucks," but Chevrolet and Ford are doing their best to convince us that they have potential. Chevy does so with a big-block simpleton that's rich in torque and cowboy swagger. Ford, on the other hand, has taken a more comprehensive approach to performance under the guidance of its Special Vehicle Team that created the Cobra Mustang. We felt obligated to line them up door hand to door handle to see which is the better modern-day muscle truck.
