This engine makes 237 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque, making it one of the most powerful cars in its class.
A six-speed automatic transmission is standard, as is front-wheel drive. This Sportage was equipped with the $1500 option for all-wheel drive.
The SX Turbo model also comes with 19-inch wheels and some different exterior trim pieces.
Pricing for the 2020 Sportage starts at $25,110 for the base LX model with a non-turbo engine and front-wheel drive.
The SX Turbo with all-wheel drive starts at $36,210, and our test car with a few accessories stickered for $37,290.
The Sportage is a two-row crossover with space for five passengers.
The rear seats fold to expand the cargo area from 31 cubic feet to 60 cubic feet.
