Based on the XC40 compact crossover, the new 402-hp Recharge P8 illustrates Volvo's commitment to electrification.
Volvo says that half of the vehicles it produces will be fully electric by 2025, making the XC40 Recharge P8 the first of many Volvo EVs. It shares its platform and dual-motor powertrain with the Polestar 2 and should start just under $50,000.
