Cadillac unveiled the 2023 Lyriq "show car" in a live feed on Thursday, August 6, saying the production electric SUV will go into production in late 2022. The Lyriq is the first GM vehicle to use the automaker's Ultium battery technology. The vehicle we're seeing today is 80 to 85 percent design complete, meaning there will be some changes before it goes into production.
