The Cayenne E-Hybrid's tells are rather subtle, consisting of a few E-hybrid bright-green exterior badges and painted brake calipers.
Pricing for the Cayenne E-Hybrid starts at $81,850. A handful of options, including air springs and adaptive dampers, rear-wheel steering, a 7.2-kW onboard charger, and 20-inch wheels, pushed our test car's sticker to $93,080.
The Cayenne develops a combined 455 horsepower from its 355-hp turbocharged 3.0-liter V-6 and a 134-hp electric motor-generator positioned between the engine and its eight-speed automatic transmission.
In our testing, the Cayenne E-Hybrid posted 18 miles of electric-only range.
Despite its considerable 5389-pound mass, the Cayenne E-Hybrid can bolt to 60 mph in 4.2 seconds and cover the quarter-mile in 12.8 seconds at 108 mph.
Our test car's optional 20-inch wheels shod with Bridgestone Dueler H/P summer tires helped it post 0.93 g of grip around the skidpad and stop from 70 mph in 166 feet.
Largely due to its hefty 14.1-kWh battery pack and electric motor, the E-Hybrid weighs a substantial 681 pounds more than the base Cayenne.
As with all Porsche Cayenne models, the E-Hybrid features satisfyingly precise steering and an excellent ride-handling balance, although its additional weight does hamper its agility on twisty roads.
