The Gladiator Mojave is distinguished by its fake hood scoop, bold Mojave graphics, and orange tow hooks.
Along with a 1.0-inch front suspension lift, the Gladiator Mojave also features 2.5-inch Fox internal-bypass dampers at each corner.
The Mojave's secondary Fox hydraulic jounce dampers—basically heavy-duty, short-stroke shock absorbers usually seen on off-road racing vehicles—take the place of its front bump stops to help prevent the suspension from bottoming out.
Other chassis modifications include a reinforced frame, a stiffer rear axle, a wider rear track bar with larger bushings, and a 0.5-inch-wider wheel track.
Unlike the Gladiator Rubicon model, the Mojave four-wheel-drive transfer case has a taller low-range gear ratio and its electronic locking rear differential can be engaged in high-range mode.
An Off-Road Plus drive mode is unique to the Mojave model and adjusts the engine response, ABS, and traction and stability controls for optimum desert-running conditions.
Model-specific 17-inch wheels wrapped with 33-inch-tall Falken Wildpeak All-Terrain tires are standard on the Mojave. Falken Wildpeak Mud-Terrain rubber is a no-cost option.
The Mojave is powered by the same 285-hp 3.6-liter V-6 as other Gladiators and can be had with either a six-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic transmission.
The Mojave's interior is notable for its orange contrast stitching and Mojave-embroidered sport seats with larger side bolsters.
As with the Gladiator Rubicon model, the Mojave's pricing starts at $45,370 yet can easily top $60K with options.
