While the regular T-Roc crossover can be had with a 296-hp turbocharged inline-four, the convertible is only available with either a 114-hp 1.0-liter inline-three or a 148-hp 1.5-liter turbo-four.
A precise six-speed manual transmission is standard on the T-Roc Cabriolet. A seven-speed dual-clutch automatic is optional with either engine.
VW claims that the T-Roc Cabriolet can saunter to 62 mph in 9.6 seconds when fitted with the optional 1.5-liter four. Factor in two additional seconds if you opt for the 1.0-liter three.
