New software and several other changes make Lamborghini's SUV significantly quicker without sacrificing its civility

Exterior modifications to this Lamborghini SUV are few. The faux diffuser, side skirts, grille, fender flares, and brake calipers have been sprayed black. The exhaust tips are powdercoated satin black. A remote-controlled underbody lighting system now glows from beneath the car.
Ghost Motorsports lowering links drop the Lambo about 0.5 inch. For our photography, we placed the Urus's air springs at their lowest setting.
The Urus wears forged aluminum wheels from Avant Garde with the company's 18K Gold finish.
The 23-inch, $8800 wheels are the same width as stock but have a slightly more aggressive offset.
The modified Urus still wears its factory summer tires: Pirelli P Zero PZ4, sized 285/35R-23 in front and 325/30R-23 at the rear.
The Urus's modifications bring its as-tested price to $277,904, which includes the SUV's $243,596 base price and $6500 in labor.
Open Flash charges just $2495 for the engine-computer tune, which increases the Lambo's power from 641 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque to 725 horses and 750 lb-ft.
None of the Lambo's underhood hardware has been altered. Save for different software, its twin-turbo 4.0-liter V-8 remains stock.
Inside, a K40 radar and laser detection system has been integrated along with a BlackVue camera system.
