The liquid-cooled and oil-lubricated turbo features an electronic waste gate that enables up to 4.0 psi of boost.
The turbo combats the negative effects of elevation, producing 165 horsepower from sea level all the way up to 8000 feet.
The Summit 850 Turbo features a lightweight, one-piece hood that shaves a claimed six pounds.
The turbo packaging is clean and compact, adding only a claimed 10 pounds of additional weight.
A battery-less starting system, call SHOT, uses an ultra-capacitor that discharges into the magneto to spin the crankshaft. It saves a claimed 17 pounds over a battery and starter-motor system.
