While still in prototype form, Hyundai's N-Line family sedan will bring a boost in power and a more athletic demeanor when it goes on sale later next year.

The Sonata N-Line's turbocharged 2.5-liter inline-four will make at least 290 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque.
At 19 inches, the N-Line's standard wheels are an inch larger than you can get on lesser Sonatas.

While the prototype we drove was draped in camouflage, we expect the Sonata N-Line to wear more aggressive body addenda, including a deeper front fascia.
The N-Line's interior highlights will include supportive sport seats and lots of red contrast stitching.
Similar to Toyota's new Camry TRD, the Sonata N-Line is the result of Hyundai's effort to make its conventional family sedan more interesting and appealing in the face of ever-greater competition from SUVs and crossovers.
