The Macan Turbo is powered by a twin-turbo 2.9-liter V-6 also found in the Panamera and Cayenne. It produces 434 horsepower and 405 lb-ft of torque here.
Porsche's Surface Coated Brakes are standard on the Macan Turbo. The rotors are coated with a layer of tungsten carbide to reduce dust and increase rotor lifespan. A carbon-ceramic setup remains optional.
Porsche's very supportive yet comfortable 18-way power seats come standard on the Turbo.
When equipped with the optional Sport Chrono package, we expect the updated Macan Turbo to reach 60 mph in a respectable 3.8 seconds.
Like all Macans, a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and all-wheel drive are tasked with getting the power to the ground.
The Macan Turbo comes standard with 20-inch wheels, while 19- and 21-inch wheels are optional.
While the traditional steel spring suspension remains standard, air springs are optional and worth every bit of their $1390 asking price.
