Both the RX350 and hybrid RX450h have received new styling, including updated LED headlights and taillights, a more complex grille design, and new paint colors.
An 8.0-inch infotainment screen is standard while a 12.3-inch unit is optional, and both can now be controlled via touch in addition to the touchpad on the center console.
The 2020 RX features a stiffer structure and a retuned suspension including firmer anti-roll bars.
Two different F Sport option packages are available, with both bringing revised exterior and interior styling and modified driving dynamics.
The RX350 uses a 3.5-liter V-6 with 295 horsepower, while the hybrid RX450h (pictured above) partners a similar engine with two electric motors for a total of 308 horsepower.
Additional safety features, including bicyclist detection, lane centering, and road-sign assist, are now standard.
With more than 111,000 units sold in 2018, the RX not only is Lexus's best-selling model but also the best-selling luxury crossover in the United States.
Android Auto is now standard, the first time the system has been integrated into a Lexus. Apple CarPlay also is standard.
The RX350 comes with front-wheel drive as standard and all-wheel drive as an option; the RX450h is all-wheel-drive only.
Pricing has yet to be announced, but the 2019 RX350 started at $44,845, and the RX450h opened at $47,270.
