The 2020 Porsche 718 Spyder and Cayman GT4 are the new top of the 718 model line and mark the return of the flat-six to Porsche's mid-engine lineup. With 414 horsepower, an 8000-rpm redline, and a six-speed manual as the only transmission option, they sell themselves.
The flat-six in the Spyder and Cayman GT4 is a new engine developed specifically for these models.
While the 4.0-liter displacement is the same as that of the 911 GT3, this engine is a naturally aspirated variant of the turbocharged 3.0-liter found in the 911 lineup.
