Underneath, the Pilot's mechanicals were given some attention, with Honda devoting some engineering efforts to smoothing out the optional nine-speed automatic transmission's behavior, while the dashboard touchscreen finally(!) sprouts a physical volume knob. (Previously, volume control was handled via a finicky touch-sensitive slider widget.)
