From the Archive: We drive five crossover SUVs—Dodge Journey, Ford Edge, Hyundai Santa Fe, Mazda CX-7, and Nissan Murano—across time-worn northern Arizona.
From the Archive: Gas prices are on the rise and large, conventional SUVs are a thirsty lot. The latest crossover SUVs aim to stem that thirst for fuel whilst still offering solid versatility and better road manners. To gauge the best of the current crop—Dodge Journey, Ford Edge, Hyundai Santa Fe, Mazda CX-7, and Nissan Murano—we headed to Arizona, and took some geology lessons along the way.
