The Corvette's removable roof panel is great and all, but in the pursuit of a lighter, less expensive Corvette, Chevrolet decided to swap it out. The Corvette Hardtop ditches the giant rear glass and roof panel in favor of a fixed hardtop. Some other notable options aren't available, either, all in the pursuit of putting Corvettes in every driveway in America.
