The Aston Martin Vantage S joins the sports car's lineup for 2026, honing the Vantage's already agile handling and putting a bit more pep in its step for an even more playful attitude.
The visual changes to the Vantage for the S model are minor, with the biggest difference up front being found on the hood, where the vents now feature carbon-fiber blades that help extract heat from the engine bay.
In the back, there is a small decklid spoiler, which Aston Martin says adds 97 pounds of downforce when the Vantage is traveling at its top speed of 202 mph.
There are also handmade S badges on the fenders, and while the design isn't too distinct from the standard Vantage, that car is already a visually impactful machine.
Aston Martin tweaked the twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8 to produce 14 more horsepower, bringing the total to 670 hp.
The torque output is the same as the standard car's, at a stout 590 pound-feet.
The other major changes came in the suspension, which was thoroughly revised with new camber, toe, and caster settings and retuned Bilstein adaptive dampers.
Aston Martin also mounted the rear subframe directly to the body, removing two rubber bushings used in the standard car, to increase stiffness.
However, Aston Martin also softened the transmission mounts and rear spring aids to better control the powertrain's mass over bumps.
The Vantage S is already on sale, and starts at $199,500, just $5000 more than the standard car.
