2021 Ram 1500 TRX Gets Even More Capable with Mopar Accessories
From a spare-tire carrier to a bed-mounted RamBar, here are some of the hundreds of Mopar accessories you can get on the 702-hp Hellcat-powered pickup.
- Ram has announced that more than 100 factory-engineered accessories will be available from Mopar for the 2021 1500 TRX pickup.
- They include things such as a RamBar accessory mount, a bed-mounted spare-tire carrier, and off-road rock rails.
- The 1500 TRX is powered by a supercharged 6.2-liter Hellcat V-8 that produces 702 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque.
The 2021 Ram 1500 TRX is one of the most ridiculously over-the-top vehicles you can buy today: it has a 702-hp supercharged 6.2-liter Hellcat V-8, 35-inch all-terrain tires, and adaptive Bilstein remote-reservoir dampers, and it's 8.0 inches wider than the standard Ram 1500. Why didn't anyone inform Car and Driver that John Hennessey was in charge of Ram Trucks? Customers who want to make their Ford F-150 Raptor–killing pickup even more capable will be able to do so with more than 100 accessories from Mopar, and here are a few of them:
RamBar ($1195)
The matte black RamBar allows owners to mount extra lights behind the roof for nighttime trail destroying. It also has extra tie-downs for bed storage so things don't fly around when doing said trail destroying. The accessory bar mounts to the bed using stake pockets.
Off-Road LED Lights ($595)
Remember the aforementioned RamBar's primary purpose? Yeah, here are some LED lights you can slap on top of there. They shine at 4800 lumens and come with two light covers, a wiring harness, and a switch. Easy peasy.
Bed-Mounted Spare-Tire Carrier ($995)
If you're taking the TRX off-road where it belongs, there's a chance you could get a flat. Good thing a bed-mounted spare-tire carrier, which can fit up to 37-inch tires, is available so trail-swapping tires is almost effortless. Better hit the gym and do some tire-flipping workouts.
Rock Rails ($1195)
The optional Mopar off-road rock rails are made from aluminum and mounted using high-strength steel brackets.
Running Boards ($995)
Made of lightweight cast aluminum, these off-road running boards can be mounted directly to the truck with no drilling necessary.
Bed Step ($395)
The TRX's optional bed step can hold up to 350 pounds, so it'll support you and your full belly after eating Raptors for breakfast. It lowers and retracts with a gentle push.
Bed Rails ($250)
The available anodized aluminum bed rails mount to the side of the truck bed and are equipped with adjustable tie-downs to secure other Mopar accessories such as sliding toolboxes, sport-utility bars, and a cargo-bed divider.
