Photos provided by the automaker show that the redesigned steering wheel now sports scroll wheels, which Audi said were inspired by the interior of the Concept C, rather than, you know, common sense and safety. Unfortunately, other important functions, such as the climate control system, are still exclusively handled by the screens.

To that end, both e-tron models are getting updated software, which the automaker says provides a cleaner appearance with more familiar touchpoints and a more navigable experience. That means fewer lists, better graphics, and more contrast between icons and backgrounds. Some of the software menus will also now display a 3-D model of the owner's specific car, including the correct paint color.
