Now a few years into the current generation, Mazda is making small tweaks to its 10Best-winning CX-5. For 2021, the compact crossover sees a small increase in price and is adding a Carbon Edition trim level, as well as a standard 10.3-inch infotainment screen—up from the 7.0-inch screen currently offered in the vehicle.

The 2021 CX-5 starts at $26,370, a price increase of less than $100 from the outgoing model year. Across the other trims, price increases don’t exceed $300, including the top Signature trim level. Adding all-wheel drive on any vehicle still costs $1400.

The Carbon Edition is priced at $29,955 for the front-wheel-drive and $31,355 for the all-wheel-drive version. It offers a unique color scheme, including Polymetal Gray exterior paint, 19-inch black aluminum wheels, and red leather seating with red stitching through the leather steering wheel and shift knob. The Carbon Edition comes standard with the CX-5’s 2.5-liter inline-four but both front- and all-wheel-drive versions can be had with the optional turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine for an additional $1805.
