- The results are in, and it appears as though the readers also had a difficult time deciding: CL1CKB8 won by the narrowest of margins.
Breaking news out of C/D's Ann Arbor headquarters this afternoon: CL1CKB8 has been chosen as the vanity plate for our new Tesla Model 3 long-term test car. Leading CAR AND by 51 to 49 percent, it was a close race, but ultimately CL1CKB8 clinched the win.
Our Editor-in-Chief has submitted the request for the plate, and we're expecting it to arrive just in time for the car's next photo shoot. We were asked by a number of readers what our other suggestions were, so we're happy to present the list in its entirety below.
