When SRT debuted its new Viper at the New York auto show, it only revealed a red model. And when we happened to spy a production-ready Viper track-testing, it was yellow. For color enthusiasts and Viper aficionados, there’s one paint scheme that’s been missing from SRT’s rollout: the classic GTS Blue with Bright White stripes. And it just so happens that Chrysler’s performance arm has a special-edition Viper featuring just such a color scheme.

The Viper GTS Launch Edition made its debut at Pebble Beach, finally offering the public a chance to see SRT’s new supercar with the famed blue and white duds. In addition to the paint, the Launch Edition is made unique by Viper emblems with blue backgrounds on the hood and steering wheel—all other 2013 Vipers feature gray backgrounds—five-spoke aluminum wheels, a serialized dash plate, Black Laguna leather with contrasting stitching throughout the interior, an Alcantara headliner, and Satin Silver bezels.

But the blue treatment is all that separates the GTS Launch Edition from its serpent brethren. Untouched is the 640-hp, 8.4-liter V-10. Now there’s nothing to do but wait for the Mid-Cycle Refresh Edition lime green model we’re anticipating for 2015.
