With looks to spare and a 560-hp 4.0-liter V-8 providing the muscle, Audi’s RS7 is the perfect vehicular pallet for showcasing the wide range of customization options available through Audi’s exclusive personalization program. To get the ball rolling and draw some attention to the program, Audi is debuting the exclusive RS7 dynamic edition in the Big Apple.

Forced to choose a single word to summarize the mods, we’d have to say “red.” The seatbelts trade black for the Crimson Red hue, and the seats, dash, gearshift boot, center and door armrests, and console all get measured doses of the color as accent stitching. Combined with the carbon-fiber inlay accents, they communicate an unmistakably sporting vibe. The theme continues on the exterior with Tornado Red brake calipers—with RS7 logos, natch—and 21-inch gloss-black wheels. Exterior-finish options consist of four colors: Ibis White, Suzuka Gray metallic, Daytona Gray pearl, and Phantom Black pearl. The usual carbon-fiber accouterments—splitter, diffuser, and carbon-fiber engine cover—and a sport exhaust further underline the performance character of the exclusive RS7.

All the regularly available bits of RS7 goodness are present and accounted for: The DRC system, which utilizes three-stage adjustable dampers that are hydraulically cross-linked and integrated into the Audi drive select system, the standard rear sport differential, and dynamic steering. So if you dig the “standard” RS7 but still yearn for a touch more exclusiveness, grab $146,045 (including destination) from the top of your dresser and head over to your Audi dealer this summer.
