Supercar-nage: Lamborghini Gallardo Burns to the Ground in England
Twitter/HEMELFIRE

Sad as it is, there’s something riveting about supercar-nage, whether it be a wrecked Ferrari F40 or a classic Mercedes being clipped by a Bimmer—and don’t get us going about the Corvette sinkhole—so we couldn’t resist running these photos of a Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera that met a fiery end on Saturday on a roadway in Hemel Hempstead, England, according to a report on GTSpirit.com. As you can see, there’s not much left of the thing, with only the nose cone left undamaged, and the lower half of the driver door skin, and the wheels remaining remotely recognizable.

The GTSpirit.com story didn’t provide many details as to the cause, but according to another source of extremely high repute, thesupercarkids.com, the Lambo suddenly burst into flames but both occupants got out without injury, and that the Lambo was currently for sale for £85,000 (or about $144K). We can’t vouch for the truth of any of this, other than that we’re looking at pictures of one raging bull whose days of raging on the road are over.
