The first car has emerged from the National Corvette Museum sinkhole, and it’s the 2009 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 Blue Devil prototype. The best news? It started! Watch video from the museum below as the car turns over, and rejoice in the resurrection of one of the historical Vettes. It will go on display for a while before heading to GM for restoration, a task made somewhat easier, we imagine, by the fact that it’s still somewhat functional. We’ll bring you more details on the fates of the other seven Vettes as they—the cars and the information—emerge, and you can keep tabs on the museum’s recovery efforts via this streaming feed from inside the facility.
