Volkswagen would probably like it if we started off this post by announcing that if you purchase a 2015 GTI by the end of the month, the automaker will throw in a free GoPro camera. Pretty neat, right? Indeed, although we doubt you can top VW’s clever YouTube promo for the giveaway, which involves Tanner Foust ripping a GTI absolutely covered with GoPro cameras around city streets to mind-distorting, über-catchy music.

There really isn’t much more to say than that—other than, of course, mentioning that viewers can alter the camera view mid-video, which is very cool. After all, what’s the use in VW sticking that many GoPros on a car and not showing us the footage from at least a few of the lenses? It’s a fun way to check out Foust’s astonishing driving skill and the GTI’s full dynamic envelope. We’ve driven the new GTI—it has topped the Focus ST in a comparison test, too—and, yes, the VW is that hot.
