Ferrari has confirmed to Road & Track that a version of the Pininfarina Sergio concept is going into production. The thing is, only six will be built. And you’re too late. Like the Ferrari F60 America before it, all the Sergios were pre-sold to hand-picked customers before the car was even publicly announced.

The Sergio was introduced at the 2013 Geneva auto show and honors Sergio Pininfarina, who passed away in 2012. The concept car was built over Ferrari 458 Spider bones, and that will, in all likelihood, carry over to the limited-production Sergio, as well. Ultimately, you can think of the Sergio as a run of six one-off customs, highlighting the growing importance of Ferrari’s (and Pininfarina’s) ability to cater to the whims of the ultrawealthy who crave exclusive, highly collectible Ferraris.

Ferrari won’t talk numbers, but the just-unveiled F60 was rumored to cost around $2.5 million, and the Sergio should cost at least that much, if not more.
