The Cyclone was Harley Earl's final dream car. It debuted at Daytona Beach wearing much taller tail fins, which were later trimmed, signaling the end of the fin-era. Two black cones impart a Madona-esque visage to the front, and house radar sensors for a proximity warning system. A 390-cubic-inch V-8 modified with low-profile intake spins a special rear-mounted three-speed Hydramatic transmission coupled to a two-speed rear axle for six-forward speeds.
