Many of the cars parked on the lawn at Meadow Brook had dual windshields, but this was the only one we saw with a third. The 1927 Lincoln Model L Imperial Victoria features fixed second-row jump seats, with a third windshield behind them to protect the hair and hats of the people in the back row. Those individuals, however, did not have to raise their voices to talk to the driver, as a one-way intercom allowed back seat drivers to hassle the chauffeur without his being able to protest.
