Here's one that will be missed at the Woodward Dream Cruise on August 16. While Don Yenko produced 201 Camaros and 99 Chevelles in 1969, a mere 37 lucky Novas received his 450-hp 427-cubic-inch V-8 (many believe Yenko's rating was conservative, and that the engine produced closer to 500 SAE gross horsepower). Yenko reportedly called his quickest and lightest offering, "almost lethal," and is rumored to have commented that maybe he shouldn't have sold them to the public; a sentiment perhaps supported by the fact that only eight of the cars survive today.
