This coupe was a transition model, using the 3.2-liter 160-hp V-8 engine that dated from the '50s, nestled in graceful bodywork styled by Nuccio Bertone (hence the connection here) that presaged the move toward the future six-cylinder coupes and eventually the 6-series. Just 603 of these coupes were built over a four-year period.
