Overview

The Mazda 2 is not quite as spacious inside as the Honda Fit, but it offers a sporty and lightweight feel that we really enjoy. While the engine could use a few more ponies, the fuel economy is exemplary. The great five-speed manual gearbox helps the fun factor—skip the optional four-speed automatic, if you can.
