These Cars Were Our Favorites at the Audrain Concours

We've seen Zagato-bodied Aston Martins and Alfa Romeos—examples of both were in the Zagato class here—but this is the first Lamborghini Zagato we've encountered. Based on the 350 GT, it was built for the 1965 London Motor Show and features a 280-hp V-12 that was said to give it a top speed of 150 mph.

Powered by Cadillac's incomparable V-16 engine, this is the big-boy Series 90, in ultra-rare convertible form.

This Countach served as a pace car in the 1981 and 1982 Monaco Grands Prix. For 30 years, the car's whereabouts were unknown, and then it was discovered in 2019 in preserved condition, showing just 5000 km on the odometer.

You may be familiar with the Iso Rivolta and the Iso Grifo, but you have ever seen a Lele? Designed by Marcello Gandini, the Lele was built from 1969 to 1974, and like other Iso models, was powered by an American V-8 engine.

This scrumptious blue interior earns the Lele a second picture.

A variant of Lamborghini's 350 GT, the 400 GT featured a revised front-end design and was produced for only a few months. This car is one of 23 built.

The Audrain had two classes for cars from owners under 30 years old, and this Jeepster was our pick of the bunch. Immaculate inside and out, it's claimed that the majority of the restoration work was done by the owner when she was just 15 years old.

This painstakingly restored Sunbeam Tiger features a correct 260-cubic-inch Ford V-8 and is said to be the 33rd Tiger built. Can't you just hear the Get Smart theme song? Or maybe that's just us.

No self-respecting concours can be without at least one Talbot-Lago, and this 1938 teardrop coupe with Figoni et Falaschi bodywork serves nicely.
