These Cars Were Our Favorites at the Audrain Concours
Assembled on an oceanfront bluff in Newport, Rhode Island, the cars in this show compete against the spectacular backdrop of The Breakers, the Vanderbilts' Gilded Age mansion.

The Vanderbilt fortune was largely the product of shipping and railroads, but Cornelius II's oceanfront manse magnanimously welcomed nearly 200 cars and motorcycles this past Sunday. The occasion was the sixth annual Audrain Concours, held each year on the grounds of The Breakers, considered to be Newport, Rhode Island's preeminent Gilded Age mansion. Those who came out to see them enjoyed picture-perfect weather, a spectacular setting, and some impressive machinery. The following were our favorites.
